July 2, 2011:
12 Davao Bloggers were invited to come for a look-see at Coffee Dream's repackaged branch at SM Davao.
Bloggers: Ria Jose, Andrew Abella Dela Serna, Chito and Leah de Castro, Floraine Asirit Balgos Jr. w/ her partner, Carla Nazario, Koikoi Canarias, Eugene Maning, Mark Glenn Cabrera, Duane Bacon, and Anj Nacorda.
With the tagline, A New Dream, A New Look; Coffee Dream came up with a new theme, look and concept not only for their tumblers and coffee cups, but also with their store's logo and interior design.
With a more youthful logo that is less austere than their original one, Coffee Dream envisions to gain the trust and taste of a younger generation, which are also the country's topmost coffee shop aficionados.
The overhauling doesn't stop there, you would also notice the minimalist look of the coffee shop. Gone are the unnecessary things that used to cramp the space-- leaving only the essentials. With a glass counter, chic tables and chairs, trendy hanging lights, and attention-grabbing paintings, killing time and hanging out with a coffee in hand has never been this comfortable.
A slight Coffee Dream history:
Coffee Dream is considered as one of the pioneers in the gourmet coffee industry in Cebu City. Started in the year 1996, the first Coffee Dream shop was established and opened in the 4th level of Ayala Center in Cebu City by Glenn Anthony Soco, a finalist of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2005 and also a recipient of Garbo sa Sugbo 2006. With much determination and hardwork, he was able to gain the trust of loyal customers and was able to create a culture of coffee lovers in metropolitan Cebu.
Thus, with the influx of more customers and business opportunities, it expanded to more branches and was also opened for franchising. In the present, it does not only have stores in Cebu, but also in other cities nationwide
Coffee Dream envisions to serve only the best-tasting brews in town, thus, they see to it that every product they have is of unmatched quality and excellence. With employees that are not only friendly but are also courteous and patient, this coffee shop would surely go far. In addition, Coffee Dream branches do not only serve coffee, they also have a wide selection of mouth-watering and delectable pastas, sandwiches, and pastries that you will want to order again and again.
With several options from hot coffee, iced blended frappes, flavorful fruit smoothies and more… you will surely have a hard time choosing which one is worth buying. But, no worries! Why? Well, Coffee Dream has been open for over 10 years, and with this coffee shop’s quality service, it is without a doubt that Coffee dream would still be in the gourmet coffee industry for years to come.
